Weekly10 provides the ability to run Performance Reviews (or appraisals) on top of the regular check-in. Weekly10 uses the data collected through the regular check-in process to construct an appraisal which summarises the last period. This makes reviews both efficient and effective, with our customers typically seeing a ten-fold reduction in the time required to administer a typical 'end of year review'.
Weekly10 provides a default Performance Review template, however this can be modified for your organisation's specific needs. If you would like to create a bespoke template please see our user guide.
A typical template consists of a combination of the following automatic elements, all of which will derive data from the submitted check-ins:
- Goals/OKRs from report period
- Goals/OKRs planning
- Questions from period
- Recognition from period (mentions and pass-ups)
Additionally, as part of the review process additional questions can be asked to either the reviewer (typically a manager) or the employee.
- Text comments
- Rating question (including a total calculation for avg. or sum)
- 360 Feedback
The frequency of reviews is separate to that of the Weekly10 check-in. The review frequency can be set at an organisation, department or team level and run on a per week or per month basis (i.e. every 4 months).
A week before (this can be modified) the due date of a Performance Review the system will automatically generate a draft review for the last period (up until the due date). An email notification will be sent to the employee and reviewer.
Once in draft the employee and reviewer can view and respond to questions within the review - saving as draft when required. Following a discussion the employee and reviewer can make any further changes before setting the review status as final. At this stage the review will be archived into the employee's profile.
