It takes just a few minutes to get started with Weekly10 and submit your first check in.
Once your account is created on Weekly10 and enabled by your manager (or an administrator) you will receive a notification via email (or a workplace platform such as Slack or Teams).
Click on the link within the notification to get started - this will allow you to set-up your password. If your company uses Slack, Microsoft 365 or G-Suite you may also be able to verify your account using these options.
Once in Weekly10 you will find your employee dashboard.
The dashboard provides you with an overview of your previous updates and current questions together with your current and archived goals (or OKRs).
The top right of the screen displays three recognition statistics:
- Mentions: This is when another member of staff has recognised you during an update, this statistic shows a rolling 12-month statistic
- Likes: When your manager provides a 'thumbs-up' to an update
- Pass-ups: This is when your manager passes up an individual response to their manager to provide your response with exposure within the organisation
Centre of the screen provides you with the ability to submit your next update (and when it is due) - you can also submit an ad-hoc update if this is enabled for your account. An ad-hoc update can be helpful if your next update is not due, but you wish to share some information.
When you are ready to submit an update you will be presented with two sections; Questions and Goals (or OKRs). Your update will be viewable by your manager by default, and any followers if you have them set-up. The top of the update displays who can see your update.
You will have a number of questions set by your company and/or manager. Questions will vary between text, rating, multiple choice and recognition type questions. For text based questions, you can select the rich text option to create a more detailed response and attach files where relevant.
When you have a recognition type question you can use @name to recognise them. When doing this they will receive a notification of the comment.
Currently active goals and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) will be displayed - here you can provide updates and an optional comment. Last weeks progress will be pre-filled. If your goal has been met or it has passed its due date you will also have the option to archive the goal/OKR.
Once you are done simply save draft or submit.
Setting goals and OKRs
From the dashboard simply select 'Goals' or 'OKRs'.
This screen will show your currently active goals or OKRs. Clicking the 'chart' button will allow you to view the full history and see any related goals or objectives.
To create a new goal or OKR click 'New'. Here you can create a new personal goal, objective or key result. Follow the wizard to create.
Any goal you add during this process will be added to your weekly update and tracked in Weekly10.
