When completing updates employees can add tags to the feedback they provide simply using a #. These searchable labels can then be used to help represent projects or topics.
Tags can also be used to link to Core values. Core values are what support the vision, shape the culture and reflect what the company values. They are the essence of the company's identity – the principles, beliefs or philosophy of values. Core values educate employees about what the organisation is about and clarify the identity of the company.
A core value for an organisation might be teamwork. Setting teamwork as a tag therefore allows employees when recognising others within their check in to tag that particular org value (see example below). This ultimately highlights and reinforces just how employees have engaged and aligned their behaviours to core values whilst providing insights into the overall employee culture.
