Note: This is a user-restricted feature. Only admin users are able to create organisation level check-in questions. Currently, organisation questions can only be set via the Perform & Engage 365 web platform.
Admin users are able to add, remove or update org-level questions at any time.
Questions can be set at an organisation, department, team or individual level. It is recommended to focus on organisational questions for your first few months of using the Perform & Engage 365 check-in, then begin to introduce questions for the other levels as you progress.
To create a question at an organisation level:
- Head to the ‘Organisation’ dashboard and select ‘Questions’ from the secondary menu bar.
- Select the 'Organisation' tab from the four options below the initial text.
- On this page, you will see all live questions as well as be able to access the organisation's question archive.
- Locate the organisation group you'd like to add a question for, or if this doesn't yet exist create a new group.
- In the question group, select the blue 'Create a new question' button.
- You can choose to either create your own question from scratch or choose one (or multiple) from the question library.
- Once a question is created (or added from the library) it will now appear listed under your relevant question group.
- You can then use the edit options (click the three-dot menu that appears when you hover over any individual question) for making any amends, attach any useful files and delete the question or add it to the archive all from the questions page.
- You can also move the position of the question using the small blue arrow that appears to the left-hand side of the question when you hover over it. The order questions are displayed here are the order they will appear in the check-in for you employees.
Question type options:
When setting questions, there are 5 types of questions you can choose to use:
- Text - a simple text box style question allowing responders to enter as much, or little. text as they choose.
- Choice - a multiple-choice option that allows you to add as many choices as required and customise as needed.
- Rating - a numeric scale-style question where responders answer by selecting an appropriate number on the scale. You are able to assign scale labels to your scores (e.g. 1 = poor, 10 = excellent).
- Yes/No - a simple dichotomous style question that is either answered as 'yes' or 'no'.
- Recognition - a peer recognition question to share some kudos with colleagues. To tag a colleague, use the '@' symbol and start to type the colleague's name and the platform will filter down to the correct individual.
