Within the Perform & Engage 365 check-in responses are by default able to be passed up and across by a reviewer. This is a great way of giving employees exposure for their hard work or sharing challenges with other departments. However, sometimes people's responses may be sensitive and they may not wish for them to be shared with others in the organisation. If this is the case, there is the ability when creating a question to provide optional privacy.
This means that the individual can choose whether they wish their response to be shareable or not.
You can create a question which has this setting by simply following the below steps:
1. Start creating a new question within the questions screen.
2. Select the box "Allow private responses".
When completing their check-in's, individuals will then see a little padlock icon available for the question you have created.
When they click this padlock it will mean that the reviewer won't be able to pass their responses up or across to others within the organisation. It will remain private and visible to the reviewer only.
