There are lots of different conversation template options you can choose to create in Perform & Engage 365.
What is an Employee Review?
Employee Reviews, often referred to as performance reviews or appraisals, form a critical part of the holistic approach to performance management. Their purpose is to identify areas for growth, support improvements, inform development plans and/or inform more formal HR decisions on employment such as pay rewards or redundancies. Typically these are completed on a quarterly or annual basis.
What is a 1:1?
A 1:1 template is aimed at strengthening relationships between managers (sometimes coaches or mentors) and their team members. It encourages more frequent performance conversations in-between any regular quarterly or annual employee review. They are often completed on a monthly basis but can also be adhoc and generated by users as and when required. The template usually includes a brief discussion around current progress and identifying any additional support requirements.
What is a 360 Review?
A 360 review makes performance management processes a lot more objective and fair. It is a template for sourcing feedback from other people outside of the direct manager employee relationship. Managers are not always able to view the contributions of team members directly and so obtaining feedback information from other sources such as peers allows them to gain a much bigger picture. 360 feedback can also help change an employee's perception of their own skills and performance, either because reviewers take a different view or because certain areas are shown to be more or less important than they thought.
What is a survey?
A survey template in Perform & Engage 365 allows you to obtain more focused opinions, reviews and engagement responses, outside of the regular check-in process. Generally used to motivate the workforce, and better understand workplace culture to drive further organisational improvements. Typically, these are done on an ad hoc basis.
What is a Form?
A form template allows for a simple recorded two way feedback approach to processes such as a return to work. The form is generated, completed and submitted in one basic step, rather than following any more complex review workflow processes.
