By default Goals in Perform & Engage 365 are 'line of sight'. This means that they follow the organisational structure upwards. For example, an employee's goal visibility is as follows:
- Their own personal goals
- Their Team level goals
- Their Department(s) goals
- The Organisational goals
This means that employees can not seen other employee's goals (unless they manage them) or other Department goals.
You can however, specify the visibility on a goal to be 'public'. This will make the goal visible to everyone in the Organisation. This can be done at Department, Team or Personal level.
To do so, when creating or editing a goal simply click on the 'eye' button to change the visibility. Changing the parent of goals at the same level will apply the same rule for the sub-goals
