While Perform & Engage 365's sentiment analysis helps you 'read the room' of your organisation, our 10Pulse Engagement Model provides detailed insights into key employee engagement areas.

What is 10Pulse?
How do I view 10Pulse data?
What is 10Pulse?
Using a combination of sentiment and platform interaction analysis, we model and measure employee engagement across your organisation, breaking this down into five key areas. This helps you understand the strengths and weaknesses from an engagement perspective.
Those five key areas are:
- Discretionary effort
- Pride at work
- Employee advocacy
- Job satisfaction
- Feeling valued
The model provides a score between 0 and 10 for the average engagement level of your organisation. This overall score is determined from the five underlying factors of employee engagement calculated by the model (as above).
For each of the five areas we also provide individual scores. A score below 3 would indicate an area of weakness and above 7, an area of significant strength.
Perform & Engage 365 provides the overall organisation scores as well as scores at department and team levels within our analytics dashboard. 10Pulse is not available at an individual employee level for privacy.
How do I access 10Pulse?
Note: Currently 10Pulse is only available to view in the web platform. It will be coming to Microsoft Teams in the near future.
10Pulse is calculated over a ten-week rolling window where overall Perform & Engage 365 check-in participation is 60% or greater. This means that while it is accessible beforehand, you should not start analysing the 10Pulse score until you have used Perform & Engage 365 for ten weeks.
Once that ten-week period is complete here is how to access the data:
- Accessing your 10Pulse data is done via the ‘Organisation’ tab accessible by all admin users.
- Once on the ‘Organisation’ tab, the 10Pulse company overview widget can be seen on the right-hand side about halfway down.
- This widget immediately shows you the company-wide 10Pulse based on the most recent group of Perform & Engage 365 check-ins.
- It also displays the scores per key engagement factor giving you a quick view on any potential problem areas or real strengths – simply hover over any of the factors to display the data.
- Selecting ‘View details’ in this widget then opens a new 10Pulse page with far more options for exploring your data.
- On this page, you can view 10Pulse data by department, team and location (if you have multiple) as well as set the dates of interest and whether you want to view data at a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual cadence.
- You also have the option to view the data as a heatmap over a chart. This option can provide real benefit when trying to investigate where issues lie or where your employee engagement strengths are.
- Below both the chart view and heatmap view you can see and export the raw data for the time period and other filters you have set.
