In Perform & Engage 365 employees will typically have a single manager configured. However, it is also possible to add additional 'followers' for an employee. A follower will receive a notification when an employee submits an update and they will be able to comment and provide feedback. They also have access to the employee's history and goals set within the system.
A user may request to follow someone or an administrator can set this up. The two options are shown below:
Adding followers (administrator)
An administrator can navigate to 'Organisation > Manage' and locate the relevant employee to be 'followed'.
Click the button circled above.
A window will appear displaying a list of existing followers and the option to add internal or external followers.
An internal follower is a user of Perform & Engage 365. An external follower can be any email, however this follower will only receive an email report of check-ins and won't have the ability to comment or view history.
Select the follower and click 'Add'. This will immediately add the follower.
This screen also allows administrators to remove existing followers.
Request to follow
Any employee can request to follower another. To do so they should search for the employee using the search bar at the top right screen of Perform & Engage 365.
From the user's profile page select 'Request to follow'.
The employee will be sent a request to approve. Administrators can also approve this request using the instructions above. Employees can remove followers at any point from the 'Settings > Manage Followers' screen.
