Sharing question responses to a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel is a great way to share feedback across your whole organisation (or selected teams, groups or departments).
Doing this really helps to open-up the flow of communication within a business and can be especially useful when wanting to highlight the great things going on within an organisation.
A classic use case for this is the sharing of recognition feedback to a dedicated 'Kudos' channel on Teams. This not only highlights the good work of others, but it encourages others to think about the recognition they could and should be giving out to their colleagues.
This short guide will show you how to set up a Teams channel for sharing responses to and how to connect a question to it.
How to set up a Teams channel for sharing responses to.
From your Microsoft Teams account go to 'Apps' and search for Perform & Engage 365.
Click on Perform & Engage 365 and then click the purple drop-down arrow (next to 'Open').
Select 'add to a team'.
Now either select or input the team channel you wish to connect and push responses to. If you don't yet have a team channel for this, head to 'Teams' in MS Teams and create one, then jump back to this step.
Click 'set up a bot' to continue.
The channel you have selected will then prompt with a notification to say Perform & Engage 365 has been connected.
How to add question responses to your chosen Teams channel
Now as an admin user of Perform & Engage 365 log into the web version of Perform & Engage 365.
Go to the 'Organisation' tab and click on the 'Questions' subtab.
Find the question you wish to connect to your Teams channel, click the three-dot menu at the end of the question's row, and select 'Edit'.
Scroll to the 'Share responses to app' section of the edit screen and select the 'MS Teams' tab.
