We often fall into repetitive, monotonous work routines and we stop learning new things. By giving constructive and frequent feedback, particularly if it includes areas to improve, you encourage employees to think about new ways to do things.

Employees are much more likely to come to you with problems if they know you take note of their activities. Furthermore, if you let them know when you’re happy with their work, they will likely continue to work hard to strive for more recognition.

When you give your employees positive feedback you increase their confidence in their work. This makes them feel more secure in their work and helps overcome anxieties and imposter syndrome.
5. You create better managers
Feedback is a two-way thing. Your people are trusting you to read, think about, and act on the feedback they're giving you through their Perform & Engage 365 check-ins. Sometimes that means saying no, postponing an idea, or delivering bad news. The worst thing you can do is ignore it. Set time aside to address any issues as they arise.
