Pausing an employee is a useful feature when a member of staff is going to be absent from work for a long time, for example, maternity/paternity or sabbatical.
Employees who are on holiday are better using the ‘Vacation’ feature - though if they forget to do this, admins can pause them instead.
Pausing means placing a user’s account on hold until they are un-paused by their manager or an admin. This pauses all Perform & Engage 365 check-ins and notifications for this user.
To pause an employee:
- Enter the employee’s name into the search bar in the top right-hand corner of any page.
- Select their name.
- On the employee profile page that opens, select the org-chart icon under their avatar and email address on the left-hand side.
- On this page you can use the pause symbol to the right of the employee’s row to set their account to paused.
To un-pause an employee, follow these steps and click Pause to reverse the action.
